Author of the just released Caught in the Middle: Stories Of Hispanic Migration And Solutions To America's Immigration Dilemma, Utah-based Danny Quintana is a tireless supporter advocating on behalf of the world's disabled and immigration reform. Danny was a top high school wrestler and walked on to the University of Utah's college team. Two weeks later at the age of 21, he became afflicted with transverse myelites. He has been in a wheelchair since and has shifted his athletic skills to wheelchair tennis. He successfully competes in national and international wheelchair tennis tournaments. He graduated from the University of Utah in 1980 and from their College of Law where he received his J.D degree in 1983. After a successful legal career, he retired from full time practice in 2000. He is the author of several books: Hunting and Gathering, An Urban Youth Survival Guide; Martian Peace, Why We Must Explore the Oceans and Space; Love Letters From The County Jail: Adventures In Failed Relationships; Pax Americana, the Military Industrial Complex and the War on Terror; and numerous articles on a variety of other topics.
